If a recording was created in error or associated with the wrong appointment, you can delete it or transfer it to the correct appointment. See below for a step-by-step guide!
Open the appointment where the recording(s) were created.
Click the Transcript icon in the top-right corner.
Click Edit in the top-right corner.
*Note: An appointment can only be manipulated by the user who recorded on the patient. If you are viewing an appointment recorded by another user, you will not see the "Edit" button for that appointment.Select the recording(s) you want to manage.
Click Delete or Transfer.
If you select Delete:
Confirm your selection, then click Delete again.
Important: This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you select Transfer:
Choose the appointment you want to transfer the recording(s) to.
βBy default, both appointments will be re-scribed unless one of them has no recordings.
Example: If you transfer all recordings from Appointment A to Appointment B, Appointment A will not be re-scribed, and Appointment B will be re-scribed.
If you want to make more recordings on either appointment, uncheck Scribe this appointment. You can manually re-scribe later by clicking Scribe it on the recording page when ready.
Click Confirm transfer.
NOTE: If you have an EHR integration, re-scribed recordings will be automatically pushed to your EHR again as well.
