The DeepScribe app is compatible to be run on your iPhone or iPad, whichever you are more comfortable with. In order to assure that your note and recording are flawless, we recommend that you put your iPhone or iPad on "Do Not Disturb" mode when you are recording an appointment with the DeepScribe app.
The reason for this is that when you receive a phone call or FaceTime request, it takes over the microphone even if you don't answer the call, so your recording will stop. This is why we recommend one of two methods:
1) Have a device that is used solely for the purpose of using the DeepScribe app, such as a refurbished iPhone or iPad that has no cellular capability, and therefore, no risk of being interrupted you're recording an appointment.
2) Place your iPhone or iPad on "Do Not Disturb" mode. A short tutorial of how to activate this has been attached below. If the below method doesn't work, you can also go to Settings > Do Not Disturb, and then turn on "Do Not Disturb",
Start on any page of your screen:
Once you swipe down from the top right corner of the screen (Where the battery icon is), this will pop up:
The icon that is circled in red is the "Do Not Disturb". Once you have clicked this, the icon will turn white, meaning that "Do Not Disturb" mode is now on. From here, you are free to use the DeepScribe app and record your conversations without being interrupted!
