If you are noticing that a note is taking a long time to complete/import, or that your note does not contain all of the information you provided during your recording/s - it is possible your recording/s is "stuck" in the uploading phase.

How Can I Identify This Problem?

If this is the problem you are facing, you will see the word "Uploading" in your app next to the recording/s, such as this:

Why Did This Occur?

Recording/s stuck in the uploading phase typically means that your internet connection was momentarily disrupted while a recording was attempting to send over to DeepScribe.

How Do I Fix It?

To remedy recording/s stuck in the uploading phase, you will need to restart your app and keep it open while connected to stable wifi for about 5-10 minutes. It is important that you simply restart the app, *do not delete* the app. You should then see your encounter/s enter the red "writing note" state as we process the recording/s. If you do not see the encounter/s enter that state after restarting the app while connected to stable wifi for 5-10 mins, please check the following:

  1. On iOS, go to Settings -> General -> Background App Refresh. Make sure this is turned ON for the DeepScribe app

  2. On iOS, ensure Low Power Mode is OFF
